Beach Day

Today was the first day of Wyatt and Cameron's spring break. It is supposed to be the warmest, nicest day of the whole week. I was a little worried I might go crazy with all the kids home for the whole week. The older boys seem to get a little stir crazy when they don't have school. So, I got brave and took all the kids to the beach! (seriously, the night before I went back and forth in my mind if we would go or not) Wyatt and Cameron were bummed that we weren't going to get in the water. I assured them that even though it seemed like summer outside, the ocean was still VERY cold. We went down t0 Oceanside harbor and found a great parking spot in the 2 hour free parking. I put Tag in the stroller and we walked and looked at the boats. Then we went down to the playground and the kids played on the equipment and dug in the sand. We then walked down the jetty as far as we could with the stroller and the kids threw rocks into the water. On the way back we stopped at the store by the boat lauch and got ice cream. It was a kind of short trip, but fun to get out of the house.
